Introduction

Mod’Art è un salone di parrucchieri con una clientela prevalentemente femminile, di età media e di status medio-alto. Il salone offre ai suoi clienti un ambiente raffinato e accogliente in cui poter trovare professionalità, abilità e creatività.

Mod'Art is a hair stylist salon, which has mainly female clients of average age and upper middle status. The salon offers its clients a refined and welcoming surroundings, where they can find professionalism, skill and creativity.

Monogram design

Abbiamo progettato un simbolo che risulti elegante e sofisticato, lavorando su un monogramma che combina le due iniziali, disegnate seguendo lo stile dei caratteri slab-serif sul modello Clarendon, ma con congiunzioni fra aste e grazie molto arrotondate. Dalla combinazione delle due lettere emerge una forma a corona che attribuisce al simbolo maggiore prestigio.

We projected a sophisticated and elegant symbol, working on a monogram which combines the two initial letters; we designed them following the slab-serif font style on the Clarendon model, but with very rounded connections among steams and serifs. From the two combining letters emerges a crown shape, which gives the symbol more prestige.

Typeface design

Il carattere tipografico progettato per il nome è un sans serif dalle forme squadrate e dall’aspetto pulito, neutro e compatto, ispirato al modello Microgramma, che conferisce al logo un aspetto più moderno.

The typeface we designed for the name is a sans serif with square shapes, clean, neutral and compact appearance, inspired by the Microgramma model, which conveys the logo a modern look.
