CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
I was inspired by a character I created for one of my screenwriting modules. The character is an elderly, bourgeois violin maestro. After a monumental blunder in his career, he rekindles his love for music with the help of one of his students from the youth orchestra.

ENVIRONMENT
For this music room, I was going for a semi realistic style. I modeled everything from scratch. I found most of the textures online and slightly tweaked them. The chalkboard and violin textures I hand painted myself. I also did the lighting and compositing.

You might recognize Anthony Hopkin's voice. I was provided with the voice clip and had to animate my character according to it.
