GRAPHIX MAESTRO Design and Print is a starting business in the Philippines. They offer graphic design like creating logo's, posters, product label design, merchandise design and more. Aside from design services they also offer printing like product label printing, t-shirt printing, calling card printing and more. Since they are new in the field of design and printing business most of their clients are small time business entrepreneur.
You will see below the process I made on how I arrived in the final and approved logo.
Above is the sketching part where I encoded it on adobe illustrator. The basic shape of this logo is angle square shape that has four equal sides.
As you can see above that I used the initial name "G" and "M" for the logo. Inspired for the two typeface which is the ancient Greek roman alphabet typeface and military stencil typeface. I used this typeface as an inspiration because the business is offering graphic design services, so basically my inspiration for the logo is near to the services of the client's business.
You will see above the side by side comparison between the sketch grayscale and colored logo. I also include the color palette that I used on the logo. The color palette is suggested by the client.
Above is the approved logo placement. I just put the business name around the logo to look balance and proportion.
