Hypnelus ruficollis, also known as "Pájaro Bobo" is a beautiful bird from the north of Colombia and Venezuela, first time I saw a specimen was in the amazing land of Santa Marta. These birds measure about 20cm, they live on the savannah and arid scrubs, and feed on fruits and invertebrates. They live alone, in couples or maybe in groups of up to 6 individuals.
