Hi, this is a project I worked on by myself. I called it The Bird Eater and it's a short animation about a guy trying to, well, eat a bird. Not a usual behavior, but this is animation after all.
First, The Final Product. It resulted this short animation of a guy trying to eat a bird.
Process. I started with a small sketched storyboard, progressed with creating and browsing my characters, and then finally made them come to life.
Storyboard. I'm not the best at drawing...
Illustrations. After that I started making the character and his poses.
After Effects. After illustrating everything and finding a bird for the job, I started animating them.
This was all made by hand, with the help of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Audacity, where I recorded my voice for his reactions. The only few elements downloaded from Envato Elements were the bird, the background music, and a few "boom" sound effects.
